The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Table

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a wide array of heroes, and a exciting storyline showcasing divine entities, evil spirits, and sinister influences growing in power within the city.

Warning: Revealing details for Episode 3 of the new season lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and presented the first table of heroes who will split off from the primary party to begin their independent quest, distinct from the other two tables.

This warrior group consists of Teor (brought to life by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Considering 13 cast members, it was clear from the start that keeping everyone at one table would be unworkable.

This explains, the initial installments of this story serve as an Overture, intertwining the characters’ stories before branching into three separate parties: Warriors, Planners, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for players who enjoy a traditionally charged fight-heavy narrative style where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Initially, figures such as the reluctant priest the cleric might look unsuited, but the events of the latest installment demonstrate why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the team understands precisely where to head next after a brutal opening clash with the antagonists.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose demise initiated the campaign’s events—exploited the foes for his personal gain, breaking into the secret base, assaulting the character, and taking all the enchanted items to dispose of.

The antagonist then paid off his obligations and escaped to a secure base in the northern region, north of the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each adventurer has a personal reason to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as the companion and best friend, desires revenge.
  • The adventurer is familiar with the region and cautions that it is a hostile location.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having resisted his family’s wishes to kill the fighter and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their reputation as key figures in the influential clan could enable the group access areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor pledged a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his salvation and will now accompany him anywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are hunted by the authorities that rule the setting for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind too risky:

  • Thimble and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The cleric defied the influential house and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • The target is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This results in them no alternative but to travel to the remote area in search of the traitor.

What’s Next?

From the latest episode’s post-show segment, we find out that the warrior group will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the players to assemble the Explorers and Planners parties.

Audiences can expect discovering which adventurers will be in which group in the season’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on next week.
