We present a simplified interpretation of a beverage found on a new cocktail list. Designed as a party-sized prepared mix that's packed full of flavours of the holiday season, which makes it excellent for your holiday party. Any leftover cordial you can use for morning drinks, desserts, or to mix another batch of this cocktail.

To make the Citrus Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g fine sugar
To make the Premix (yields 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (see above)
Whole cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Directions
To prepare the Cordial: Place every ingredients into a pan, bring to a simmer, stirring to dissolve. After that, remove from the burner and let it to cool down entirely. Pour into a clean bottle, close it and store in the fridge, it can be stored for up to a month.
To make Cocktail Base: Mix every spirits and syrup into one large bottle, allow it to infuse for an hour, then strain best through cheesecloth, so it's fully clarified.
To serve: Add 85ml of your cocktail base into your stirring glass containing ice, and agitate carefully for one minute to chill. Strain to a frosted cocktail glass or equivalent, top with a few cranberries and finish with a quick spritz with the mandarin essence over the top.
